Key Product Advantages
Omniphobic coatings repel water and oily liquids and are envisioned for myriads of applications. However, omniphobic surfaces are often fabricated with fluorinated materials, which requires the use of harmful poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Scops technology offers PFAS-free, omniphobic polyurethane coatings with excellent optical properties as well as water and oil repellency.
Our coating technology can create end-products with low friction surfaces allowing both water and oil based liquids to cleanly and quickly glide over most surfaces. They are self cleaning, optically clear and graffiti resistant. Coatings can easily be formulated to meet many different product criteria and be applied to most materials.
